Series Meetings are meetings designed with a theme or topic in mind. We'll either post the topic or send out an email a few days before the meeting. (See previous posts for examples of previous topics.) There is also plenty of time for general discussion relating to breastfeeding or parenting in general, meeting other mothers and speaking to a La Leche League Leader about any questions or concerns you might have.
The topic this month is Introduction to Solids where we will be discussing nutrition, balancing breastmilk and solids, dealing with common concerns of health visitors and doctors regarding solids and breastfeeding, and hopefully dispel some of the myths around introducing solids.
